Mazatlan4Rent accepts Visa, MasterCard.  Payment can also be arranged by bank-issued check, or cash.  Upon clients instruction to confirm reservation payment must be processed within seven days in order to maintain legitimate reservations.

An Initial Deposit of 50% is required and must be received in order to confirm a booking.  A confirmation notice will be sent upon receiving your deposit along with a rental policy contract.  The rental contract must be signed and returned, along with a copy of identification.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon your arrival in cash or by credit card 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

All holiday reservations require payment in full to confirm.

Accidental Rental Damage Insurance (ARDI): Mazatlan4Rent charges a mandatory damage insurance fee to provide coverage for accidental damages to the vacation rental during your stay. This fee replaces a security deposit which eliminates having to put up a security deposit or deal with having your deposit returned when you get home.  

Return home with vacation memories, not repair costs.  Including ARDI with your reservation ensures that the cost and repair of covered accidental damage will be handled between the rental property and the insurance company.


Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received by e-mail in our office. If a refund is applicable, refund payment will be processed within two weeks of cancellation notice and will be in the form of US Check, Canadian Check or refund to credit card account.

The following assessments will apply to cancellations:  A fee of 5% will be applied to all canceled reservations to cover any incurred credit card or payment processing fees.

Cancellation prior to 30 days from arrival date will result in a cancellation fee of 5% of the total reservation costs.

Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 100% of total rent. If the dates are re-booked, a full refund would be available at that time.  When you make your deposit you are agreeing that you accept & agree to these terms.

Cancellation for any holiday reservation (Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and Thanksgiving weeks) will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent.

Some property owners will authorize rescheduling or credit towards a future stay. This strictly depends on the individual property owner and cannot be guaranteed without authorization from said owner.

Your reservation will not be subject to refund in case of cancellation due to Hurricane, natural disaster, or other “acts of god”. We strongly suggest that you purchase hurricane travel insurance prior to paying the final balance of your reservation.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION: We highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance when traveling internationally.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance:  We know that travel plans can go astray.  As a result Mazatlan4Rent offers optional Travel Insurance to you for your upcoming trip.  Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is 7% of the booking cost and is provided to you in order to protect your vacation rental investment.

Mazatlan4Rent is a property rental agency.  Mazatlan4Rent portrays the properties as they are to the best of our ability and has no responsibility for the conditions of the rental properties or problems arising therefrom.  Mazatlan4Rent cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, theft or misfortune that may befall the client during their stay.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Stripe technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
