La casa está muy bonita los cuartos están amplios es muy espaciosa , la zona está muy alejada por lo cual se queda muy solo, aparte fuimos victimas de robo dentro de la casa , quebraron un vidrio de un carro y robaron las pertenencias y los anfitriones nunca nos pasaron los videos de las cámaras , también les pedimos apoyo para reportar a la policía pero el robo fue a las 8 de la mañana y lo reportaron a las 3 de la tarde lo cual la policía nos informó que prácticamente ya no se podía hacer nada .Me seguí comunicando para pedir los videos de seguridad porque había cámaras en la casa pero solo me comentan que lo están pidiendo y no nos los compartieron

This hacienda style home is perfect all around! We had our wedding event and guest stay at the estate. We had 20+ guests which allowed us to have all the rooms open. We assigned them to have everyone comfortable.
The estate has a rustic hacienda style feel, it’s very spacious. There are some things that are outdated but nothing to stop you from having a great time.
The place has an incredible team! From the moment we inquired about having our wedding there the Customer Support Representatives (Claudia/Selva) were very helpful. Right before the trip I had many questions for Selva since we were traveling internationally, she was so patient and provided all the answers.
We hired many of their services in order to make everything work with the amount of guest we had. Rafaela and José were at the estate daily and provided the BEST cleaning and maintenance help. Angelica and Nelli made the BEST meals. Our guests are still commenting how they miss the meals. They were also able to do all the shopping for us with the PreVilla service and that made our arrival so much easier. David was great too, he gave us a tour upon arrival and shared helpful information including taxi numbers- he also accommodated our airport delay. We also hired our party planner Maria Elena through their service. She is our wedding angel!! Maria Elena helped me plan everything- hearing my ideas, contracting vendors, to setting everything up the day before the wedding and the day of- she did it all. My fiancé and I were able to pool all day up until the wedding time because she had everything under control, she was phenomenal! An incredible team all around!
The estate- all rooms are hacienda style, have their own bathroom and showers. There is one studio room with a tiny kitchen. One room is smaller and the bathroom is across the hall, you have to access it through the laundry room or main room and it is simple (just as pictured) but the guest that stayed there loved how tucked away it was. All rooms have working A/C. The 2 common areas and 2 kitchens do not, at first that worried us but we quickly realized we had the ocean breeze early in the morning and when it was too hot we just jumped in the pool and cooled off, great shading around the pool area too. The location is a bit north so we had a car rental for all minor things, guests called taxi’s and we got some shuttles to get around as a group. Adding a taxi through WhatsApp and having that be your point of contact is very helpful for when a ride is needed. There is a dirt road that is needed to travel on in order to get to the estate, I think that’s the only part that makes it ‘sketchy’, the area is being developed but you do see locals walking their dogs down the road, etc. The property does have security at night, who were also very kind- they are not inside the home, just outside premise. The pool has a slide that was the highlight of the whole stay. The high tide waves at night are better than any noise machine you can purchase. Everyone was so happy with our stay there! It was a horrible stay . The place was practically falling apart , shower knobs were missing hair dryers were broken light fixtures were broken , there was rats and cockroaches inside the house , the cleanness was terrible, the towels were stained . And when we asked for them to be replaced only some rooms were replaced. The amenities like , the fridges , AC, washers did not work . The TV was broken , the lock of the front door did not work either . When we left one day we left the gate unlocked , we were coming back and when we came back the gate was locked by someone . When I called the host , she did not responded until the next day with response to “ I feel asleep early” we waited about 20 min. the “security guard” opened the door which I believe is very unsafe to have a stranger in the home with our belongings . All in all . The home was terrible. We paid so much to be able to have a great vacation with my family and it ended up being a nightmare, I will not be staying here again.

My family and I absolutely loved the relaxed environment of Delfin Estate. We had a group of 23 and it accommodated all of us with room to spare. All the rooms were super comfortable and clean, the large kitchen and living room had ample space for all of us, the pool was always a fun alternative when we were not exploring Mazatlan and you can not beat the views!! Everything about the house was a 10/10. The staff was around for part of the day and they were so helpful and pleasant…Claudia, Jesus and Luis made us feel right at home and Ray was very helpful when it came to recommending things to do.
The team from Mazatlan4rent were always very helpful, they even arranged transportation from and to the airport for us. We would definitely recommend a trip to Mazatlan and a stay at the Delfin Estate!

The house was so beautiful! The workers there were respectful and helpful. This is house is definitely a place for a big group of people to stay comfortably. The only down side to the place was the location, but I'd stay there again.

Hola la casa esta espectacular en cuanto a privacidad lejos de todo el ruido, es como una hacienda con sus 11 recamaras, todas muy amplias y distribuidas . Solo si les recomiendo que le den un mantenimiento general a la propiedad de lleno antes de rentarse, tuvimos problemas con los climas y llego una persona a arreglarlos , tuvimos problema porque no salia agua caliente y luego nos salio agua ardiendo incluyendo en el agua fria y asi nos quedamos ya, las puertas corredizas no cerraban mandaron a alguien, las dos puertas que tienen con acceso al mar no tienen candado ni llave, se abren solo empujandolas y nos daba un poco de temor porque cualquiera caminando por el mar tiene acceso a la propiedad. El mar en la propiedad no se puede meter es imposible ya que es mar abierto. los atardeceres son increibles .. estuvimos muy agusto a excepcion que casi toda la estadia estuvo personal dentro con nosotros arreglando fallas. Mi recomendacion es que la casaa esta muy bonita enorme y distribuida y se renta a un precio considerable alto, si les recomendaria que le den un mtto general a la propiedad porque si tiene muchos detalles antes de rentarla para que los inquilinos no esten con trabajadores todo el tiempo.

We had a great family time in Mazatlan. This house is very spacious, specially for large groups. It was super clean and comfortable. The staff who works in the house were super friendly. The kids love the large swimming pool and above all the water slice. Nice private house to enjoy with family!

Mazatlán is awesome. This Villa is awesome. The staff are awesome. The front office and company are awesome. There’re only good times ahead if you book this location, but do it through them directly and save some money. The remainder of this review is a more detailed look at the rental, company, and experience my group and I shared in December. My Booking: I scheduled and stayed in the Delfin Estate for 1 week in mid-December with 15 people arriving from three states. Logistics Front Office: Samantha was assigned to my booking, and I worked with her about 98% of the time leading up to our arrival. She fielded all my questions and concerns without flinching. She helped arrange Transportation to and from the Airport, arrange the menu, scale the grocery needs, hire evening catering, etc etc. The list goes on, and there’s no way I could have done this without her help. Her greatness was not an exception, but more a rule for Mazatlán 4 Rent (M4R). The other front office folk were equally helpful in the limited times Samantha was busy or unavailable. Location: The Villa is located Roughly 8-9 miles North of Mazatlán’s Golden Zone. Going into town was fractionally more difficult than coming back. House staff would happily assist in arranging for a taxi or equivalent, or we could call the company directly if we wanted to head out after the staff had left for the evening. Contrast that to coming back to the Villa being easier by the fact Uber is available for that direction, but a pick up at the house using Uber isn’t possible when we went – which would otherwise have been the most convenient option. Price for the Uber is cheap, ~$5 USD including tip. Going into town was even cheaper since the only option was the local taxi providers. House Amenities Rooms: There are 9 rooms on the property for use by clients. The two master rooms have a single king bed each, the rest have a queen (some even with two). Note that one room is actually attached to the second master via the bathroom. It is the smallest of the rooms, and there is a bathroom directly across the hall that otherwise likely won’t be used because of its location. Plus, it still has its own discreet entry which is nice. Wasn’t a deal breaker, but not having its “own” connected bathroom was a little unfortunate. All rooms are quite nice, and each come with their own bathroom (aside from the one). Roughly half have ocean side view, and that ocean is awesomely loud which most of us liked. Only feedback was some people felt the mattresses were a touch on the stiff side, so personal preferences will vary on that. Pool: Amazing. Seriously, I went through withdrawals for like two weeks not having a beautiful (and heated!) pool to swim in for hours and hours. The slide too was a blast, I didn’t have any children guests with me so it was just a bunch of drinking adults having a grand ol’ time. The heating on the pool did have some variance, so I’m not sure what was going on there as we didn’t have control of the temp. One night it was practically a spa, which was incredible beyond compare, then we went a couple nights with it cooler. It was still warmer than the ~70F December breeze either way. Ocean: The Villa is as close as a building can get to the ocean, without physically being in said ocean. It’s located on a public beach, but to be perfectly honest it may have well just been a private beach. There was very little traffic, foot or otherwise, on the beach the entire week we were there. You’ll see an occasional fisherman, person strolling, or hear the odd ATV every now and again but other than that it’s all pristine beach all the time. The tide shelf of the beach was sometimes within a few feet of the retaining wall defining the front yard of the estate where it faces the ocean, so when I say close I mean it. Some of my guests swam in the ocean during low tide, and reported the water was pleasantly warm. But the seas are a little rough, and undertow is a concern so most swimming day to day was done in the pool over the ocean. The most beautiful sunsets and meals overlooking a roaring sea never got old – and is one of the features I missed the most after vacation was over. Staff Cooks: Without compare! Our cook staff all week were Angelica and Adela. I don’t think it’s possible for them to cook a bad meal. Every Breakfast and Lunch was beyond good, and everything from hand juiced oranges in the morning to Tacos Cerrados during the day was so consistently delicious. All guests were impressed after every meal, no joke. We only had two dinners catered, and a third we cooked ourselves out of groceries we had picked up prior to arrival – but there were enough leftovers to heat up on the evenings we didn’t already have Dinner planned. Catering: Dinner service is catered through Gaia, which is a local restaurant. As with all the rest of the food we had while in Mazatlán, it was all very high quality and there was ample quantity of it. I opted for two nights of service. First was arrival night, I did a Mexican Food selection and the other was night before departure where I did Italian Food for my Birthday. If I had to do it again, I would bump up the second dinner earlier as there was such a substantial amount of food leftover it would have seen better use through the week. I know I sound like a broken record, but everyone loved the food. It's not as cost effective as the Breakfast/Lunch staffing, but sometimes you just don't want to worry about what to do for dinner. Bartender: We had Alberto as our bartender during the stay. My understanding is that he was a fill-in for who was originally scheduled, and my recommendation to M4R is to hire him ASAP. First thing he did was inventory our alcohol (which was substantial, cause that’s the kind of group we are) and recommend all the mixed drink variations that were possible and then said “If you go get A and B, I can make X, Y, and Z”. We took him on his recommendations, and were sipping drinks I didn’t even consider when I had Samantha order the food and drink supplies. Brilliant! Not only that he would mix up pitchers of drinks before he left, at our request, so that we could continue to enjoy his high-quality concoctions throughout the night. He was definitely the staff we interacted with the most, including booking Taxi transport into town, and he was always incredibly helpful. Cleaning: Didn’t interact with them terribly often, but they always cleaned up the rooms well and stocked up on supplies or towels got low without prompting. Maintenance: Jesus was the Maintenance person on site, and while there was very little we needed him to look into (one shower was missing a handle initially, for instance) any need was quickly and accurately addressed. Miscellaneous Booking: First time booking through TripAdvisor, and I won’t be doing it again. I’ve booked close to 100 rentals across multiple countries over the last year for travel, and I think the TA fee structure and communication sucks. I’ve never had the fee be a surprise outside of this experience, where my “Paid in Full” booking was missing 16% leaving M4R in the position to collect the discrepancy in a secondary charge I wrapped up with my food bill and other incidentals before arriving. I don’t blame M4R for this, and I should have looked deeper into the FAQ section for how TA handled their fee structure prior to booking. I just assumed it worked like AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, VacationRental, etc where the price I payed included all the fees already and the landlord/owner is getting their proper cut already. Rest assured, next time I will book with M4R directly. Mazatlán: The city and airport reminded some guests of what Cabo was like 15-20 years ago, which is a very good thing. It’s not overly touristy, still has a lot of charm, and hasn’t been painfully Americanized. People are very nice, and we couldn’t find a bad restaurant in town. Seriously, we tried all manner of places and each one was a treat. Gus Gus, Joe’s Oyster Bar (Oysters 17 seconds removed from the Ocean), Tres Islas Brewery, the list goes on and on. I never felt unsafe, and many of us stayed out past sundown for some nightlife without issue. Food ordering: The house comes with no food at all, so don’t forget things like condiments or seasonings, etc. Samantha was very helpful in this regard. Additionally, if you want the staff to go stock up on groceries (say if your beer is running low) there is a fee and % purchase added to the request. It’s cheaper to do it yourself, however you will lose time floating in the pool. Choose wisely! Conclusion Pretty much the same as the first paragraph, our trip was awesome and after we landed home from the return flight, I was greeted by text messages from my friends asking if we are booking again next year. I have a hard time not picturing that at least some of us will be making a trek back sometime in the next calendar year. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on this place, every facet of our stay was fantastic and without compromise.

The property is well represented in pictures, etc, but when we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The property is immaculately clean, and well maintained. The staff was excellent! We were picked up at the airport and taken to the house. We did a walkthrough with Samantha, who outlined everything we needed to know. And we had a number to reach her at if we had any questions. The house staff was wonderful - they were attentive and hospitable, and provided great service. The view of the ocean is amazing!. The property is built to take advantage of the spectacular sunsets. Although the ocean isn't really swimmable, the beach is great for walking and collecting seashells. I would highly recommend this property - we will definitely be back!

The property was in excellent conditions the beds are very comfortable the pool was excellent loved it. The property is well kept up and beautiful we had a 50th birthday party and the property was perfect. I will defiantly come back and recommend this place to everybody. This facility met and exceeded all of our expectations. We had 21 people for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff has been great, And the rooms, the food was very good we will recommend it to our friends and family.

When booking the property, Lori was so kind to answer my one million questions about the house, the staff, the food and Mazatlan itself. She helped us book transfers, recommended restaurants & excursions, create a menu, and even grocery shopped for us. She also picked up birthday décor, cakes and little surprises to make the weekend extra special. The house is lovely — it’s a true oceanfront estate with breathtaking ocean views, especially during sunrise and sunset. Yes the pool is cold, but just like any cold — jump in and keep moving, you’ll get used to it plus it was pretty warm out so the cold water was a welcome break. The bedrooms are comfy and large, the living area is decorated beautifully and the large kitchen table was such a treat to have meals on with the amazing ocean views. We also loved the large kitchen counter where we learned how to make salsa, chilaquiles and some delicious pancakes from Anjelica and the rest of the staff! We loved staying here. The place is just amazing. The staff here made it feel like home, and really made our trip. We loved the pool, and the rooms were all spectacular and very clean. We highly recommend staying here ! Thank you to all the staff that went out of their way to make this a very memorable trip!

We had the most fantastic vacation ever at the Delfin Estates house! Lori was the best and very helpful in setting everything up. Anjelica cooked the best meals everyday! There are no words grandiose enough to describe our experience at the Delfin Estate. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted with the utmost service. Ray drove us to the house and provided beverages along the way. He also gave us advice about where to go in Mazatlan. When we arrived at the house, we were overwhelmed by how beautiful and over-the-top everything was. From the large, beautiful pool and slide, to the gorgeous tile and grass patio overlooking the ocean for perfect sunset viewing. Most importantly, the staff. I have never received such incredible service. Jesus and Alejandra keep the place in tip-top shape. Angelica and Doris cook the most fabulous meals you could ever imagine. Jessi was the sweetest, most accommodating bartender you could ask for. This should be at the top of your list for your next vacation. We will all definitely be back. 🙂 Thank you so much for the most incredible vacation of our lives!!!!
