Mazatlan Art Walk 2011/2012

Old Mazatlan, also known as Centro Historico, is gaining a reputation as adestination both for artists and art enthusiasts. Painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, fabric artists and more have set up their studios throughout the old quarter of Mazatlan.

The tour is self-guided and free. It's held on the First Friday of each month from November through May, 3 to 8 p.m.

You'll find some really fantastic art plus refreshments, fun, music — and you'll meet some wonderful people, both the artists themselves, and other art afficionados like you.

This year, during the 2011-2012 season, a number of new artists have joined the art walk, so that now, this year’s event has grown to 26 siteswith more than 50 artists represented. It is an international group, with artists from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Holland, Italy, and of course, Mexico.

Artist sites are located within an approximate 10 block area in Mazatlan's Centro Historico. You can pick up maps at many locations around El Centro, and at selected hotels in the Golden Zone. Or, visit ourMap page and print off your own copy.
